I spent the day
with my boyfriend, Chris. We went and drove over two
hours to Shenandoah National Park. I LOVED IT! It
sort of reminded me or Yosemite, but less water and
mountains. There was an abundance of trees. It's still
Spring time, so many of them haven't budded yet. I
got close up two a few deer and had a small picnic
with Chris.
On the way back, I swear I
saw a piece of heaven. Rural land with 2 ceramic art
galleries. Outside (we couldn't go in, due to being
there after closing) were pond set ups with flowing
water, small bridges, flowers, ceramic figures, and
a pond. I took photos. It was too beautiful.
Dinner for tomorrow is currently
cooking. Chris helped me pick up the supplies. I'm
making brisket, potatos, salad, and chopped liver
with matzo served with plum wine (I know plum wine's
not really "Kosher", but no one here really
is so let's just say it is) for Chris, Zen, and myself.
Happy little dinner. This is the ONE time of year
I will happily drink...with dinner!
