I
recommend using Photoshop version 5.5 or higher for
Mac or Windows.
1.
Finished inked drawing is scanned in.
If you use Photoshop, scan it at 300 to
600 dpi on the black & white setting.
2.
Using the pencil tool in Photoshop, edit
the pixels to an appropriate dithering
for your image.
3.
Depending on the contrast of colors on
the character, the darkerlines of a similar
shade or tone are more appealing than
standard black. Pick colors that are at
least 50% darker.
4. The
final colors are added and laid out
with its background.
